Job summary

Veolia is seeking an EHS Specialist to oversee Health, Safety, and OSHA compliance across Leonia, Richmond, Cary, and Bellevue facilities under the EHS Senior Manager. The role aims to provide a safe, healthy work environment by identifying hazards and implementing controls.

You will mentor management and staff, lead or assist in investigations, and promote sustainability initiatives while ensuring training is conducted and documented. Less than 25% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in an EHS role.
• Ability to travel less than 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and corporate EHS regulations.
• Analyze data and audit processes for Ergonomics, emergency response, and other management standards.
• Support and improve EHS programs to reduce hazards and risks at plants.
• Lead or support safety investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Conduct safety inspections and provide technical guidance to site teams.
