Veolia Group is a global environmental services leader seeking an EHS Specialist to implement and administer Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and OSHA programs at Leonia, Richmond, Bellevue, and Cary facilities under the EHS Senior Manager. You will promote a healthy and accident-free workplace through hazard recognition, evaluation, and control.

This role requires collaboration with plant management, conducting inspections, root-cause analyses, incident investigations, and sustainability

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hazard recognition, evaluation, and control
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of SDS tracking systems and material approvals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with management and workforce

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate EHS regulations
• Analyze data and audit processes across Ergonomics, emergency response, and contractor management
• Support and improve EHS programs to reduce hazards and risk
• Lead or assist in EHS projects and required reporting
• Lead investigations and root cause analyses to define corrective actions
• Conduct safety inspections and trainings
• Participate in incident investigations and sustainability reporting
