Job summary

Veolia seeks an EHS Specialist to implement Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and OSHA programs at Leonia, Richmond, Bellevue, and Cary facilities under the EHS Senior Manager for EPP and T&P. You will foster a healthy, accident-free workplace through hazard recognition, evaluation, and control.

Requirements include an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 3–5 years in an EHS role; travel is less than 25%.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hazard recognition, evaluation, and control.
• Knowledge of working with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Incoming Material Approval Systems and SDS tracking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with management and employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate EHS laws and guidelines.
• Analyze data and audit processes for Ergonomics, emergency preparedness, and other standards.
• Support and improve EHS programs to reduce hazards and risks.
• Lead or support EHS projects and required reports.
• Lead investigations and perform root cause analyses for incidents.
