Job summary

Amcor is seeking an EHS Specialist to plan, direct and implement the environmental, health and safety program at the site level. You will work under the EHS Manager to ensure a safe, incident-free work environment and lead safety trainings, audits, and risk assessments across operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA standards, safety program development, and the ability to coordinate with on-site teams to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• BS/AS in Industrial Safety Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year of safety experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA and related regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and training delivery skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly accident summary reports.
• Assist with incident investigations.
• Conduct safety and environmental training programs.
• Perform daily safety walks and identify hazards.
• Assist on-site teams with risk assessment.
• Maintain OSHA 300 Logs and relevant reports.
• Organize safety training and onboarding for new employees.
• Assist in purchasing appropriate personal protective equipment.
