Job summary

Amcor is hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Coordinator to establish a strong safety culture across the facility. The role reports to the EHS Manager and focuses on engagement, coaching, and proactive safety practices to protect employees and the environment.

You will develop and manage safety training, lead incident investigations, and maintain environmental records while ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, or 1–3 years of safety experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong organizational and written/spoken communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA, EPA and other government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establish an engaged and committed EH&S culture at the facility.
• Lead site safety committee and first aid teams; drive safety training programs.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and spills; conduct site inspections.
• Maintain environmental, health and safety records and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate environmental permits, emergency planning, and hazardous waste management.
• Prepare/update EH&S policies, procedures and manuals; monitor metrics.
