Job summary

Amcor is seeking an EHS Specialist to support the site EHS Manager in planning, directing, and implementing the environmental, health and safety program. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, incident-free workplace and complying with OSHA and environmental regulations.

You will develop and manage safety programs, conduct risk assessments, coordinate training, and assist in incident investigations. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred in Industrial Safety/related field.
• 1 year of safety experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Assist with incident investigations and OSHA 300 Logs.
• Conduct and coordinate employee safety and environmental training.
• Perform daily safety walks and identify/correct hazards.
• Support risk assessments with on-site teams.
• Assist in purchasing appropriate PPE and maintaining safety records.
