Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking an EH&S Specialist for our Stanfield, NC site. The role supports a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

You will lead training, manage health programs, coordinate audits, and partner with safety consultants and vendors to implement compliant programs. The position emphasizes data tracking and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or relevant certifications.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Certification in 1st Aid, CPR & AED or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA/EHS regulations.
• Proficiency with common software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Assist WC claims administration and workers’ compensation processes.
• Provide industrial athletic and ergonomic training to employees.
• Manage employee health programs and health testing.
• Ensure plant compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Conduct EH&S audits, training sessions, and safety analyses.
• Maintain EHS logs and KPI reports monthly or as needed.
