Job summary

Campbell's in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist responsible for plant-wide safety programs, regulatory compliance and incident investigations. You will lead the EHS team indirectly, maintain OSHA records and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrences.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with federal, state, and local EHS regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforces OSHA/EPA/regional safety regulations to meet EHS objectives.
• Maintains OSHA 300 logs and injury/illness metrics.
• Develops and implements site health and safety programs and trainings.
• Supports safety orientation and incident investigations.
• Coordinates with engineering, maintenance and quality to embed EHS into processes.
