Job summary

Par Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Sr. EHS Specialist to strengthen safety culture and compliance across EHSS programs. You will develop and implement Job Safety Analyses and risk assessments, lead EHS audits, and mentor staff while upholding OSHA standards.

The role requires collaboration with site leadership, strong communication, and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. On-site work with occasional on-call duties is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Occupational, Safety, and Health Engineering or related field.
• Certifications CSP/CHMM/CIH/PE are a plus.
• 5–10 years of EHS experience in pharma/chemical/manufacturing settings.
• Experience with audits/inspections for regulatory compliance.
• Experience in industrial hygiene monitoring and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and healthy working environment through training and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Lead EHSS inspections/audits with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and mentor in Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and risk assessments.
• Monitor records and prepare required injury/incident reports.
• Lead emergency response activities and participate in on-call duties.
