Job summary

Orchid MPS Holdings, LLC Environmental Health and Safety Specialist role supports compliance with Federal and State regulations and company policies. The EHS Specialist reports to the Director of Global EHS and Regulatory Compliance and oversees Chelsea, MI and Detroit, MI locations.

The position assists with safety training, conducts inspections, champions a safety-first culture, and helps develop EH&S documentation and programs, including handling hazardous materials and waste management

Qualifications

• 1+ years supporting EH&S in manufacturing (preferred).
• 1+ years leading EH&S programs (preferred).
• 5+ years of safety-focused manufacturing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety training for employees on various topics and track needs.
• Conduct periodic safety and environmental inspections and document findings.
• Participate on the Safety Committee and lead safety meetings.
• Assist in developing EH&S training records and manuals.
• Support review of safety and environmental programs and compliance.
