Job summary

The Goodkind Company, a Austin-area cosmetics manufacturer, seeks an EHS Specialist to own environmental compliance for the site and to administer the safety program. The role includes managing permits, logs, samples, and agency reporting to TCEQ, EPA, and local authorities while leading OSHA recordkeeping and training initiatives.

This hands-on, individual-contributor position collaborates with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to embed compliance into everyday

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on EHS experience at a manufacturing site.
• Experience preparing and submitting environmental reports to state and federal agencies.
• Experience leading safety investigations and incident follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for environmental compliance with TCEQ, EPA, and local authorities.
• Maintain and manage permits, registrations, logs, samples, and reports.
• Administer OSHA recordkeeping, Hazard Communication, training, and audits.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and track key metrics.
• Support audits such as ISO 22716 and B Corp related to EHS requirements.
