Job summary

Farouk Systems, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to oversee safety programs and drive a proactive environmental culture. The role ensures compliance with EPA, OSHA, TCEQ, and related regulations, and supports sustainability initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

The position focuses on permits, inspections, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting, while collaborating with production and quality teams to minimize risk and improve environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing environmental permits and regulatory reporting.
• Experience conducting EHS inspections and audits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental compliance programs in line with federal, state and local regulations.
• Ensure permits (air, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste) are compliant.
• Coordinate environmental inspections, audits and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor environmental performance metrics and prepare monthly reports.
• Develop and deliver environmental awareness and EHS training programs.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and quality to improve environmental performance.
• Stay current on changing environmental regulations and communicate impacts to management.
