Job summary

IEM in San Antonio, TX is seeking an EHS Specialist to support and advance environmental, health, and safety programs within a manufacturing environment.

You will ensure OSHA compliance, conduct inspections, lead investigations, deliver training, and drive continuous safety improvements while partnering with operations and leadership. This on-site role may include occasional travel to support plant safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EH&S or related field.
• 3–7 years EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve EHS programs and initiatives.
• Perform safety inspections of cranes, eyewash/showers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs including new hire orientation and regulatory training.
• Maintain and update emergency response plans, evacuation maps and SDS database.
