Job summary

The Goodkind Co. in Round Rock, TX is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to own environmental, health, and safety compliance across manufacturing operations.

You will manage permits and registrations, maintain logs and records, collect samples, and file timely reports with TCEQ, EPA, and local authorities. This hands-on, individual-contributor role works on the production floor and in the warehouse, collaborating with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to embed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on EHS experience at a manufacturing site.
• Experience preparing and submitting environmental reports to state and federal agencies.
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational safety, chemistry, engineering, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with regulators and floor staff.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for environmental compliance with TCEQ, EPA, and local authorities.
• Maintain environmental permit and registration inventory and track renewals.
• Own the compliance calendar for logs, samples, inspections, and reports.
• Manage industrial wastewater sampling, lab results, and reporting.
• Administer OSHA injury and illness recordkeeping and Hazard Communication program.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and track metrics to leadership.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective-action tracking.
