Job summary

Vertiv in Houston, TX is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional to support, coordinate, implement and conduct safety and environmental activities. You will train employees on EHS policies, drive a proactive safety program, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to safeguard workers and facilities.

Responsibilities include maintaining EHS metrics, leading safety audits, and facilitating safety committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree desired in Electrical, Occupational Health and Safety or Safety Science.
• 3–5 years of electrical work (low/medium voltage) and/or construction experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Broad knowledge of environmental, health, safety NFPA 70E and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive the personal and team implementation of safety initiatives.
• Promote safety culture and lead programs to improve overall safety.
• Maintain and report EHS metrics and records for operations.
• Support safety training, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Interface with management and staff to integrate safe practices.
