Job summary

Vertiv Anderson facility seeks an EHS professional to plan, implement, and manage local Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. You will drive a safety culture, oversee risk-reduction initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulations across the site.

The role requires experience in manufacturing or similar settings, strong communication, leadership, and the ability to coordinate training and data reporting. Occasional travel and after-hours work may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse operations.
• Strong familiarity with construction activities including rigging and loading.
• Strong organizational and research skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all management levels.
• Demonstrated leadership and influence to promote safe practices.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Excel, Word, and PPT.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote safety as a core value and cultivate a positive safety culture.
• Identify and prioritize EHS initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate EHS training with Learning and Development teams.
• Maintain site safety records (SDS, JSA, Ergonomic Assessments).
• Track incident and injury records per OSHA and Vertiv requirements.
• Travel for training, cross-facility inspections, and audits as needed.
• Conduct regular safety/environmental/housekeeping walkthroughs.
• Collect and report EHS metrics and KPIs.
• Coordinate EHS metrics with the Vertiv Operating System (VOS).
• Ensure new equipment and lines meet safety and environmental standards.
• Advise EHS leadership on risks, actions, programs, and policies.
• Monitor environmental impacts per policy and regulations.
• Establish and improve EHS systems to reduce risk and injuries.
• Perform safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Support employee safety committees and programs.
• Assist in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Support Emergency and Crisis Management and MERT
• Audit on-site contractors to ensure guidelines are understood.
• Workweek is Monday–Friday with possible after-hours or weekend shifts for emergencies.
