Job summary

Vertiv seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to support, coordinate, and implement EHS activities across service centers. You will train employees, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, and drive a proactive safety program.

The role involves reporting on EHS metrics, improving hazard controls, audits, and collaborating with all organizational levels to minimize risks while maintaining efficient operations. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Occupational Health and Safety or Safety Science is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical work (low/medium voltage) and/or construction.
• Strong organizational and research skills, plus analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal and team implementation of "WE LEAD WITH SAFETY".
• Promote safety culture and lead programs to improve overall safety culture.
• Assist with maintaining and reporting EHS metrics for the Electrical Reliability Services business.
• Assist with improvements related to work hazards, safety training and safety audits.
• Assist with OSHA records/logs and safety program administration.
• Provide customer site safety support and participate in Safety Committees.
• Support Fleet Safety Program including driver safety initiatives.
