Job summary

Körber is seeking an experienced EHS professional to develop and manage environmental, health, and safety programs across our industrial operations in the U.S. You will drive hazard analysis, incident investigations, and recordkeeping to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will lead ISO 45001 implementation efforts, deliver safety training, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency response planning and sustainability initiatives. A CSP/CIH or equivalent is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
• Proven experience in EHS management or a similar role in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Certifications such as CSP, CIH, LEED, or REA are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of EHS laws and best practices (OSHA/EPA/local regulations).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure legal compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify workplace risks.
• Lead efforts to obtain ISO 45001 certification and implement an OHSMS.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
• Advise on safety policy and coordinate emergency drills across locations.
• Perform safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management on emergency response plans and hazardous materials handling.
• Monitor environmental performance (waste, air quality, energy use).
• Maintain records for safety, health, and environmental reporting.
