KURZ Transfer Products is seeking an EHS Specialist to lead advanced environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple manufacturing locations. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and mentoring junior staff to foster a proactive safety culture.

You will manage complex environmental programs, incidents, audits, and communications with federal and state agencies while collaborating with operations to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Health & Safety and regulatory requirements in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Expertise in EHS program development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in accident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Experience designing and delivering EHS training for diverse employee groups.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local regs; audits, inspections, and permitting.
• Ability to analyze EHS data, prepare reports and dashboards, and communicate findings.

Responsabilités

• Serve as centralized EHS resource for multiple manufacturing locations.
• Standardize safety policies, SOPs, and training across all facilities.
• Lead cross-site audits to identify risks and share best practices.
• Oversee environmental programs including air permitting and hazardous waste.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections with EPA, OSHA, and local agencies.
• Provide mentorship to site-level safety leads.
• Lead high-level incident investigations and RCA across sites.
• Collaborate with operations to drive safety and environmental improvements.
