Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking an EH&S Specialist for a Dairy Foods manufacturing facility. The role blends tactical and strategic work to advance safety, environmental and resource conservation initiatives across the site.

The position involves regulatory compliance, safety program development, incident investigations, and training. It requires strong leadership, cross-functional communication, and the ability to manage data and reports for regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of EHS Management experience in a Food, Dairy or related manufacturing environment OR 6+ years of work experience in a Food, Dairy or related manufacturing environment with emphasis on EH&S.
• Preferred: PE, FET, CSP, ASP, CHMM, Hazwopper, CEH, OSHA 30-hour, OSHA Outreach Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to corporate-wide EHS initiatives or projects and review capital projects for EHS input.
• Develop and implement site-specific Safety Programs and conduct routine safety inspections.
• Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions; lead incident investigations and report outcomes.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with MPCA/EPA/OSHA; track incidents and enter data into EHS systems.
• Lead Safety Committee meetings and coordinate training including OSHA and EHS programs.
• Prepare monthly EHS metrics and reports; communicate status to Plant Manager and Division EHS staff.
