Job summary

Land O'Lakes is seeking an EHS Manager at Vermont Creamery to lead health, safety, and environmental programs in a manufacturing setting. You will drive compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations while partnering with Operations, Quality, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain to support overall business objectives.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of EHS leadership in manufacturing, a related bachelor's degree, and experience with wastewater management and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field.
• Five+ years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; 100+ employees preferred.
• Experience with environmental compliance, wastewater management, and sustainability initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety, health, and environmental programs, policies, training, and compliance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and applicable regulations.
• Develop and execute site EHS strategies, annual plans, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, risk assessments, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs, including wastewater, stormwater, waste management, permits, and spill prevention.
• Partner with plant leadership to drive safety culture, continuous improvement, and performance.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies, contractors, and corporate EHS teams to maintain compliance and support strategic initiatives.
• Lead and develop safety committees and cross-functional teams.
