Job summary

Hyundai Mobis North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking an EHS Specialist in Montgomery, AL to drive day-to-day and strategic safety initiatives. You will implement PPE programs, investigate incidents, and ensure adherence to SQDCM objectives while promoting ethical practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial safety or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years EHS experience acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs PPE analysis, makes recommendations and orders PPE and safety supplies.
• Knowledge of incident investigation, root cause analysis, tracking injuries, and corrective actions.
• Able to review and recommend safety improvements.
• Maintains knowledge of federal, state, and company EHS regulations and policies.
• Performs job hazard analysis, system auditing and ergonomic task analysis.
• Assists in injury reduction efforts.
• Tracks and reports safety and environmental performance.
• Delivers safety training for all levels of operations.
• Participates in special taskforce assignments and projects.
• Recommends EHS policy and program improvements to EHS Manager.
• Tracks PPE, injuries, inspections, and related data for trend analysis.
