Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain is seeking an Environmental Specialist to develop, implement, and monitor programs ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate environmental requirements within a manufacturing setting.

The role provides expertise in permitting, waste management, regulatory reporting, and ISO 14001 EMS, partnering with production, maintenance, engineering and leadership to minimize risk and promote sustainability.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years job related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with the MS-Office suite is expected.
• Willingness to travel (domestic or international) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor environmental compliance programs.
• Maintain and support ISO 14001 EMS and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate waste management, permitting and regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering and leadership.
• Provide environmental training and support corrective actions.
