Arvato is a global 3PL provider focusing on supply chain management and e-commerce. We seek an EHS Specialist/Coordinator to promote a positive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain safe working environments across sites.

You will train associates, conduct audits, and drive safety improvements while reporting KPIs to onsite management. The role demands hands-on safety program administration, incident investigations, risk assessments, and collaboration with leadership to meet

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Environment, Health & Safety field.
• OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification required or preferred.
• Experience with emergency response planning and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer site-specific safety programs.
• Conduct trainings and coaching associates on safety practices.
• Lead the site safety committee and KPI reporting.
• Perform risk assessments for jobs and new equipment.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Inspect safety-related equipment, PPE, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and client requirements.

Job Description

The Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)Specialist/Coordinatorwillbe responsible forpromoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with corporate and local/state/federal safety standards, andmaintaininga safe working environment. They willmaintainsafety programs and inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment, and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA, and industry standards. The EHSSpecialist/Coordinatorwill conduct training and coaching for associates on observed work habits; perform safety observations & audits; train andassistothers in completing their safety responsibilities (Audits, Following Safety Rules, etc.); and provide specific safety training asrequired.

YOUR TASKS

• Maintain and administer site-specific safety programs;
• Conduct trainings and coaching associates on observed work habits;
• Lead and engage a site safety committee;
• Maintainaccuratedaily, weekly, and monthlyKPIsto report to onsite management teams;
• Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed and new equipment introductions;
• Track andfacilitatetrainings across the different jobs functions as needed;
• Support incident reporting and investigation;
• Conduct root cause analyses;
• Complete orfacilitateinspections of all safety-related equipment, PPE, and procedures;
• Ensure sitecomplies withall local,stateand federal environmental regulations;
• Fulfill client-related EHS requirements;
• Identifyand inform management ofhazards,compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly audits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in an Environment, Health & Safety related field
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification
• Experience in emergency response planning and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Holds First Aid / CPR certification
• PIT safety awareness
• Hazard identification / risk assessment experience
• Warehouse operations orlogisticsexperience
• Environmental compliance experience
• Associate’sorBachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, IndustrialHygieneor related field.
