Adecco is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to co-manage safety programs at our manufacturing site. You will work with the site representative to implement compliance plans, conduct incidents investigations, and maintain records.

The role requires experience in manufacturing EHS, ability to work off hours when needed, and the ability to coordinate training and audits. A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred; pay is $20–$22 per hour.

Formación

• 1-5 years' experience in manufacturing environment with responsibility for Environmental, Health and Safety.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to be on call or work off hours as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Superior analytical/ problem solving, written and verbal communications.
• Experience working with local regulatory agencies preferred.
• Familiar with various emission control devices to ensure compliance.
• Forklift, boom and scissor lift licenses are desirable; if not held, must be able to become certified.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the maintenance and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.
• Participate in investigation of incidents, near misses and property damage incidents.
• Ensure follow-up to minimize future exposure and proper records maintained.
• Coordinate and track training to support company programs.
• Conduct routine safety observations for regulatory compliance with OSHA, CAL/OSHA, EPA, AQMD, ADA, and fire codes.
• Maintain internal and regulatory reporting (air, stormwater, surface water).
• Ensure compliance with permits and government regulations; stay updated on safety laws.
• Serve as regulatory agency contact for inspections, permits, reporting.
• Maintain compliance with permits, regulations and industry practices.
• Assist employees EHS trainings and training programs.
• Prepare/execute preventive maintenance programs and document compliance.
