The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in safety or a related field along with OSHA 30hr certification and 4+ years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include managing compliance with safety regulations, providing technical support, and training staff on EHS performance. This role emphasizes the reduction of safety concerns and the establishment of effective safety programs within manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30hr certified.
• 4+ years in a safety related field in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall safety, health and environmental activities to reduce loss and liability.
• Provide regulatory interpretation and advice on safety and environmental subjects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety laws and regulations.
• Regularly train on EHS compliance and performance.
• Review incidents and conduct follow up interviews.
• Implement and maintain ISO programs.
• Stay current with OSHA/NIOSH/NFPA policies.
• Handle all safety software programs.
• Review and approve Job Hazard Analysis forms.
• Report on OSHA 300/301 logs.
• Analyze company accident statistics and recommend corrections.
• Formulate new safety programs and rules.
• Coordinate safety activities for compliance.
