Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead safety initiatives across our Texas operations. You will train, coach, and oversee safety practices for all lines of business and facilities, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires at least 5 years of managerial safety experience in large organizations, thorough regulatory knowledge, and a proven ability to manage contractors and high-hazard activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational safety-related field or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience with a company of 500+ employees.
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, local and company regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, oversight and compliance support to all lines of business and sites.
• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure safety compliance and coach management.
• Lead efforts to oversee contractors and high-hazard activities (e.g., trenching, work at elevations).
• Conduct periodic safety audits and incident investigations; track corrective actions.
• Develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and safety training programs; coordinate safety learning teams.
• Oversee 5S program, PPE procurement, and supervisor training; support driver training and DOT compliance.
