Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Safety Manager for Irving, TX in construction. You will lead safety training, audits, and incident investigations across multiple sites, coaching management and frontline workers to uphold the SEE, STOP, DO safety culture.

The role requires a Bachelor's in an occupational safety field, 5+ years of managerial experience with large teams, and deep knowledge of OSHA/MSHA and TX regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational safety-related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience with a company of 500+ employees.
• Thorough understanding of and ability to enforce federal, state, local and company regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, oversight and compliance support to all lines of business and facilities.
• Assist in maintaining safety compliance through site visits and collaboration with local management.
• Coach management, supervisors, and employees to observe and correct unsafe behaviors.
• Oversee contractors including qualification, insurance requirements and high-hazard work oversight.
• Conduct periodic safety audits, document findings and track corrective actions.
• Participate in safety pre-planning for large projects and promote best practices.
