Job summary

Texas Materials Group, Inc, a CRH company, seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead safety programs across multiple sites in Texas. You will train and coach managers, conduct audits, coordinate driver safety and ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, TXDOT and FMCSA requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and at least five years of managerial experience with a large workforce. Strong communication and leadership are essential to foster a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational safety-related field is highly preferred or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience in a safety management or supervisory role.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience with a company of 500+ employees.
• Thorough understanding of and ability to enforce all federal, state, local and company regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, oversight and compliance support to all lines of business and facilities.
• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure safety compliance and address issues with local management.
• Lead periodic audits of operations focused on safety and track corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor safety measures, including qualification, insurance and high-hazard work oversight.
• Coordinate safety initiatives with HR, EHS & safety teams and support incident investigations.
