Job summary

Anderson Erickson Dairy is seeking a qualified EHS professional to help develop and coordinate safety programs across our Iowa facilities. This role focuses on injury prevention, regulatory compliance, and creating a safe environment for all employees.

You will conduct inspections, train staff, maintain records, and work with management to implement improvements. A bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field and 5+ years’ safety experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS Management, Engineering or a related area of study.
• 5+ years related experience working in safety, environmental, or health management and compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental rules and regulations related to the manufacturing industry.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of local, state, and federal safety and health laws and regulations.
• Performs inspections and audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and present safety training material for employees, managers and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate safety and training records.
• Develop, update and manage workplace safety programs and procedures.
• Assist management in identifying hazards and implementing safe-work practices.
• Monitor and report accidents and violations and propose corrective actions.
