Job summary

CPS Inc. is seeking an EHS Leader for a well-established client in central Iowa to drive EHS programs, strategy, and continuous improvement, fostering a proactive safety culture.

Reporting to the EHS Director for Performance Materials North America, the role leads environmental protection, waste management, spill prevention, site security, and risk assessments, collaborating with site leadership to maintain license to operate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing (preferred chemical industry).
• Experience with Environmental Reporting and Safety Management Systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Lead site EHS programs, policies, and training.
• Develop and maintain risk assessments, incident response, and change management processes.
• Lead site security initiatives and mitigate security risks.
• Collaborate with site leadership and EHS community to drive continuous improvement.
