Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist in Keosauqua, Iowa. You will partner with the site operations team to drive safety as a core value, reporting to the EHS Manager and supporting daily safety activities.

Qualifications include an associate degree or 5 years of relevant experience, plus OSHA and safety knowledge. You will deliver OSHA-aligned training and help maintain EHS programs across the facility.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, recognize, report, and recommend corrective actions on safety/environmental issues.
• Communicate safety priorities and regulatory updates across the facility.
• Conduct daily Gemba walks and assist with incident investigations.
• Develop and deliver EHS training aligned with OSHA requirements.
• Audit and maintain compliance programs and participate in continuous improvement.
• Support OSHA inspections and coordinate with shop floor personnel.

Education

Associate degree required or 5 years of relevant experience
