Job summary

Taphealthcare in Vermont seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead workplace safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.

This hands-on safety leader will influence performance across all levels while ensuring strict adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT and state regulations, and will drive regulatory audits and the development of safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or another technical discipline preferred
• 3–5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead EHS programs and influence safety performance throughout an organization
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and federal regulations
• Experience leading regulatory audits and environmental compliance programs
• Experience developing or managing safety management systems
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
• Knowledge and experience with behavior-based safety programs
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Position Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Equivalent professional certification
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, dairy processing, or another regulated manufacturing environment
