Job summary

EC Electric in Portland, Oregon seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Professional to review and shape safety, health, and environmental policies across sites. You will design programs to prevent injury and coordinate audits, training, and incident investigations to ensure regulatory adherence.

The role partners with site safety staff, mentors team members, and leads safety plans and risk assessments. A BS or AS in safety-related field, OSHA 30, and BCSP/IHMM certification are preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Safety Management or Industrial Hygiene (or equivalent).
• OSHA 30 in construction or equivalent certification.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
• BCSP or IHMM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in achieving safety organization goals.
• Plans, implements and coordinates safety programs and procedures.
• Keeps current with regulatory changes and updates manuals and policies.
• Leads safety risk assessments and follows up with corrective actions.
• Conducts safety audits and incident investigations.
• Mentors employees in technical safety skills and processes.
• Communicates health and safety goals and metrics to sites.
