Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional to design and implement safety, health, and environmental policies across sites. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, incident investigations, and safety training to protect workers and the environment.

You will collaborate with site safety staff, mentor technical safety skills, and drive the EHS plan for projects while communicating goals and performance metrics to teams at each site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related subject.
• Associate’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related subject with 2+ years experience.
• Accredited EHS Apprentice program completion.
• OSHA 30 in construction or equivalent certification.
• First Aid, CPR and AED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements and coordinates safety programs and procedures.
• Keeps current with regulatory changes and implements them.
• Leads risk/hazard assessments and follows up on corrective actions.
• Conducts safety training and mentoring of staff.
• Investigates incidents and manages timely incident reports.
