Job summary

EC Electric, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional to oversee safety programs, policy design, and regulatory compliance across sites in Oklahoma.

The role emphasizes preventing injuries and environmental harm and requires clear communication with clients, peers, and regulators. You will lead safety initiatives, train teams, conduct audits, and manage incident investigations while developing EHSPs for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (BA/BS) in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related subject from an accredited school; or
• Associates (AA/AS) in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related subject from an accredited school; and at least two or more years related experience and/or training in professional safety in the field; or
• Successful completion of an accredited EHS Apprentice program.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Participates in achieving the goals of the safety organization.
• Plans, implements and coordinates safety programs and procedures.
• Keeps current with regulatory changes and implements them.
• Collaborates with facility/site safety staff for consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Mentors the development of technical safety skills for employees and leaders.
• Executes the safety vision and plan for the facility and mentors staff.
• Conducts or coordinates employee training in safety and regulations.
• Maintains training matrix for site-specific required training.
• Investigates incidents (near hits/injuries) and follows notification protocols.
