Job summary

Heil Environmental, part of Environmental Solutions Group, seeks an EHS leader to manage and coordinate comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. You will guide leadership, support operations, and drive a strong safety culture across multiple sites.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations, while developing training and improvement initiatives that reduce risk and promote best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Business, Engineering or related area or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; knowledge of pollution control principles.
• Experience with regulatory agencies (OSHA, ADEM).
• Ability to influence others to implement safety policies.
• Excellent written, oral, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and inspire the Heil team to achieve exceptional safety performance.
• Influence leaders to own key safety initiatives reducing risk.
• Align EHS initiatives with business goals; build partnerships across the enterprise.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met and compliant.
• Utilize metrics and incentives to drive safe behaviors at all levels.
• Support leaders to eliminate unsafe conditions through risk evaluation and reduction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations including Dover Rules and Code of Ethics.
• Provide training and participate in audits, inspections, and reporting of performance measures.
