Job summary

IMTT is seeking an experienced EHS&S Manager to direct the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security Department at our Lemont, IL site. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and promote operational excellence in EHS&S culture.

The role leads regulatory monitoring, incident management, training, and policy development, coordinating with operations and engineering, and liaising with agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Experience with EPA, NFPA, ASTM, API, PHMSA, DOT, USCG, USACE regulations.
• Valid Driver’s License and TWIC for terminal access.
• Certifications such as DOT, HazWoper, Class K as deemed necessary.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security regulations for local, state, and federal agencies.
• Develop, implement, maintain and enforce EHS&S policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of current federal, state, local regulations and company policies.
• Assist in incident management, including root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Perform and deliver training related to environmental, health/safety, security and compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and local authorities.
• Leverage Intelex and other EHS&S management systems for regulatory compliance.
• Direct accountability for overall EHS&S regulatory compliance.
