Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional in Tennessee to develop and maintain comprehensive EHS programs. The role conducts routine inspections of warehousing and manufacturing operations, investigates incidents, and ensures compliance with OSHA standards and DOT/IATA/IMO shipping requirements.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, maintain critical records, and deliver employee training to promote a safe work environment across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
• Experience in EHS roles in warehousing, manufacturing, or medical device/pharma environments.
• Certification in ASP or OSHA 30-hour General Industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and programs.
• Conduct routine onsite inspections of warehousing and manufacturing operations to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analyses; recommend and verify corrective actions.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and incidents with agencies.
• Ensure OSHA compliance including HazCom, PPE, Emergency Action Plans, and related areas.
• Maintain OSHA injury/illness records and SDS management access.
• Assist with hazardous materials shipping compliance under DOT, IATA, and IMO.
• Develop EHS awareness and training programs for employees and leadership.
