Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking an intermediate-level EHS expert to provide site-specific EHS support for assigned business units and partner with the EHS function to implement the global EHS management system.

The role focuses on executing EHS processes, training, environmental/occupational safety compliance, workers’ compensation, and contractor management, while identifying and controlling workplace hazards. The incumbent will escalate resistance to leadership when solving problems and will coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with major in EHS, risk management, safety, industrial, quality or environmental engineering required.
• Master’s degree preferred in the same/related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute injury prevention programs to minimize injury risk.
• Identify and control site-level hazards with incident investigations.
• Deliver and track compliance training per regulations and Sysco policy.
• Support workers’ compensation and claims processes.
• Collaborate with leaders to manage EHS resources and projects.
• Input on standardized safety systems, policies and training.
• Support environmental compliance and claims programs.
