Job summary

Sysco is seeking an intermediate-level EHS subject matter expert to support multiple sites. You will work with the field safety team to implement the global EHS management system and drive training, compliance, and incident investigations.

The role involves coordinating with site leaders to manage hazards, conduct root cause analyses, and promote a world-class safety culture across the organization. English is required; bilingual Spanish is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in EHS preferred.
• 3+ years of EHS program management experience with large national or multi-national companies.

Responsibilities

• Execute injury prevention programs to minimize injury risk.
• Identify, assess, and control site-level hazards; support incident investigations with root cause analyses.
• Deliver and track compliance training programs for regulatory agencies and Sysco policy.
• Support workers’ compensation claims process and safe return to work.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to manage EHS resources and projects.
• Contribute to standardized safety systems, policies, and programs to reduce risk and ensure compliance.
