Job summary

Google seeks a Program Manager for Environmental Health and Safety Operations in New Albany, OH. You will lead cross-functional EHS programs across multiple data centers, coordinating requirements, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication.

You will manage facility safety equipment, partner with AHJs, and drive EHS improvements while preserving zero-downtime operations. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Credentials or certifications from Board of Certified Safety Professionals, NEBOSH or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in environmental regulations and safety and health protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of EHS programs, spanning multiple teams and sites.
• Manage strategy and maintenance of security devices across data centers to ensure safe, zero-downtime operations.
• Anticipate issues, propose solutions, and develop or improve EHS Operations tools/processes; track corrective actions.
• Evaluate EHS impact during data center design reviews, equipment changes, and process changes; define controls for new processes.
• Ensure AHJ compliance, manage permits and KPIs; drive EHS turn-up of new locations with minimal supervision.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Credentials or certifications from Board of Certified Safety Professionals, NEBOSH or equivalent

1 year of experience in program or project management
