Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager to lead environmental health and safety initiatives across data centers and technical infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders across offices and time zones.

As part of the CSRM Team, you will support the EHS program, drive compliance with AHJs, and advance safety and environmental programs with little supervision, contributing to ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of program or project management experience.
• Experience with Environmental Health and Safety Regulations in data center environments.
• Experience communicating with AHJs for notifications and permits.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate issues, propose solutions, and develop or improve EHS Operations tools/processes; evaluate incident data and track corrective actions.
• Evaluate EHS impact during data center design reviews, equipment and process changes; perform EHS risk evaluations and define process controls.
• Ensure AHJ compliance, manage permits and KPIs; drive EHS turn-up of new locations with campus ownership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders; own site-based EHS decision-making and serve as SME in multiple EHS verticals.
• Lead full lifecycle of EHS programs, including operational and technical improvements.
