Job summary

Google is seeking an EHS Operations Program Manager to lead cross-functional environmental, health, and safety initiatives for its data center operations. You will drive programs from conception to execution, coordinate with stakeholders across offices and time zones, and ensure alignment with safety and regulatory requirements.

As part of the Global EHS Operations team, you will monitor performance, implement improvements, and support a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in EHS program management, project management, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management, including management of EHS compliance for data centers or other industrial facilities.
• Experience in health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to common construction processes.
• Experience with environmental regulations, safety and health protection.

Responsibilities

• Drive EHS programs from inception to completion, ensuring total alignment with Google’s global safety and strategic goals.
• Identify optimizations and lead change management initiatives to enhance program performance through data-driven metrics.
• Define and resolve ambiguous, cross-functional problems by applying independent judgment to adapt programs in dynamic, evolving environments.
• Cultivate strong relationships across teams to align expectations, mitigate program risks, and communicate progress to leadership groups.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and industry trends to foster a culture of safety and continuous operational improvement.
