Job summary

Google seeks an EHS Operations Program Manager for Data Centers to lead and coordinate complex, multi-disciplinary EHS programs from inception through completion. You will collaborate with stakeholders across offices and time zones to plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in EHS program management.
• 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management, including management of EHS compliance for data centers or other industrial facilities.
• Experience in health, safety, and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to common construction processes.
• Experience with environmental regulations, safety and health protection.

Responsibilities

• Drive EHS programs from inception to completion, ensuring total alignment with Google's global safety and strategic goals.
• Identify optimizations and lead change management initiatives to enhance program performance through data-driven metrics.
• Define and resolve ambiguous, cross-functional problems by applying independent judgment to adapt programs in dynamic, evolving environments.
• Cultivate strong relationships across teams to align expectations, mitigate program risks, and communicate progress to leadership groups.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and industry trends to foster a culture of safety and continuous operational improvement.
