Job summary

Google is seeking an Program Manager III, EHS Area Manager for the Central Region to drive complex EHS programs across multiple US locations. You will plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and coordinate cross-functional partners globally.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end lifecycle management of EHS programs in data-center contexts, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver safety, compliance, and operational improvements while aligning with Google’s EHS goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience in construction management.
• Experience in environmental regulations, safety and health protection.
• Experience implementing EHS management systems within developer-led or third-party delivery models.
• Experience in EHS program management in a data center or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the EHS programs for data center construction and operations and be an EHS advisor to Google stakeholders.
• Ensure that contractors deliver quality services and that problems are identified and corrected quickly.
• Manage construction quality processes with our general contractors, vendors and a broad range of service providers in a SIMOPS site readiness environment.
• Establish metrics to quantitatively characterize quality status for the full life cycle of the deployment project.
• Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of EHS programs, ensuring alignment with overall EHS goals.
