Job summary

Skydio is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our expanding EHS organization. This role works across office and lab spaces, engineering and R&D areas, and field deployments to build scalable EHS processes and infrastructure.

You will develop programs, conduct JHAs and risk assessments, deliver training, and investigate incidents while supporting regulatory compliance and contractor safety across multiple sites. Travel will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive EHS specialist-level experience.
• Experience conducting JHAs, risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ability to translate regulations into practical safety controls.
• Experience supporting field operations, deployments, or facilities environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS programs across HQ, R&D, Field Ops, and deployment activities.
• Build divisional safety programs, procedures, training, and inspection systems.
• Conduct field/site safety assessments for deployments and customer locations.
• Perform JHAs, pre-task risk assessments, and site-specific risk assessments with controls.
• Deliver EHS training and support contractor safety programs.
• Maintain EHS documentation, training and incident records, and corrective actions.
• Support audits, regulatory readiness, and data-driven EHS improvements.
• Foster a collaborative EHS presence across business groups and sites.
