Job summary

Echodyne Corp is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s environmental, health, and safety programs. This role partners with Manufacturing, Facilities, Engineering, Operations, and HR to proactively identify risks, reduce incidents, and foster a safe, compliant workplace.

The EHS Manager will ensure OSHA/WISHA, EPA, and local regulatory compliance across labs, manufacturing, and offices, while

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, electronics, or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA/WISHA regulations, EPA requirements, and Washington State safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide EHS programs, policies, and procedures for labs, manufacturing and offices.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, WISHA, EPA, DOT, and local regulations.
  • Lead safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; identify corrective actions.
  • Investigate workplace incidents; determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain OSHA 300 logs, environmental records, permits, and reporting for multiple locations.
  • Develop and deliver safety orientation and ongoing employee training programs.
  • Lead emergency preparedness planning, evacuation procedures, and drills; collaborate with local emergency services.
  • Emergency on-call for critical emergencies such as injuries and chemical spills.
  • Partner with Facilities and Engineering on equipment safety, ergonomics, and hazardous materials management.
  • Manage hazardous waste storage, chemical inventory, SDS, and environmental compliance programs.
  • Develop robotic safety program and training for affected employees.
  • Ensure inspection and permitting of pressure vessels and related safety systems.
  • Develop contractor safety program and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Chair Safety Committee and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
  • Track and report safety metrics and corrective actions.
  • Support workers' comp case management and return-to-work programs.
  • Collaborate with Insurance and customer questionnaires; respond to inquiries.
  • Manage safety budget and plan future improvements.
