Job summary

Everett Ship Repair is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to implement the SEMS and safety programs at our Everett, WA facility. You will lead the EHS team, develop site-specific plans, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while fostering a safe work environment.

The role requires 5+ years in safety, relevant certifications, and strong leadership. The position offers opportunities to influence safety culture and program effectiveness across the shipyard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• CSP, ASP, GSP, or SMS certification.
• 5+ years of experience in a safety-related role.
• Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations.
• Experience with shipyard and OSHA 1915 standards.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and develop EHS programs.

Responsibilities

• Implement SEMS and safety programs across the site.
• Lead EHS team and coordinate with management to improve safety.
• Develop site-specific safety plans and compliance procedures.
• Oversee EHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Maintain OSHA logs and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver EHS training to staff and visitors.
• Improve safety performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
