Job summary
Forgen in West Palm Beach, FL seeks an EHS Manager to lead the safety program for multiple projects, supporting a strong Incident and Injury Free culture. You will develop HASPs, conduct audits, train staff, and coordinate incident investigations to improve safety performance.
Ideal candidates have a BCSP designation, 5+ years in safety leadership within civil/construction environments, and a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in safety, engineering, construction or related discipline.
- BCSP designation (e.g., CSP, CHST, STS).
- Minimum five years of experience managing safety programs in civil, environmental, or general construction environments (including oil refining/mining).
- Valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Lead and be accountable for direct reports and safety program delivery.
- Drive a safety culture aligned with Incident and Injury Free objectives.
- Provide safety support to project teams to meet objectives.
- Develop and administer HASPs and align with client requirements.
- Conduct training and incident investigations; coordinate audits and inspections.
- Perform air sampling, monitoring, and IH tasks; manage PPE needs.
